Healing the Gaze
Reclaiming Purity in the Digital AgeDescription
Be careful of what we consume.
They say that the eyes are the window of our soul. Each indecent image is embedded into the corneas and it slowly darkens our soul.
Whether you’re in the battlegrounds of addiction or walking beside someone who is going through it—this is a safe space for you.
Shaykh Wael Ibrahim is conducting a special one-day event to equip anyone struggling with addiction to begin their first step towards change.
What you’ll experience:
❤️🩹 Able to identify the signs and consequences of addiction from a psychological, neurological, and spiritual perspective
❤️🩹 Understand the Qur’anic injunctions regarding lowering the gaze and protecting one’s chastity as mentioned in Surah An-Nur 24:30-31
❤️🩹 Recognise the role of tawbah, sabr, and murabaqah in the recovery journey
❤️🩹 Create judgement-free safe spaces
If there is anyone silently battling a long and dark night alone, all of us are sending you words of encouragement to hang in there so you can greet the morning sun.
☀️ Addiction doesn’t define you. You’re in safe hands.
