Born in Auckland, New Zealand, he is a heavyweight boxer, former professional rugby and rugby union player. He has won several awards across different sports including rugby, league and boxing.



His other achievements include winning the Rugby World Cup in 2011 and 2015, International Player of the Year in 2023 from the Rugby League International Federation Award, and he was capped 58 times by the All Blacks.



He is happily married with 5 children with his wife, Alana Williams.

Alana Williams is a South African businesswoman and mother.



She is happily married to Sonny Bill Williams with 5 children.



Shaykh Daood Butt completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Da'wah and Usool Al-Deen from the Islamic University of Madinah and his Master of Arts degree in Islamic and Other Civilizations from the International Islamic University of Malaysia.



After returning to Canada, he served as an Imam and Director of Community Outreach and Education at the Islamic Community Centre of Milton. Plus, he also serves as the Muslim Chaplain at the Milton District Hospital and the Maplehurst Correctional Complex (Prison).



In addition to that, he has travelled extensively for over a decade delivering lectures and seminars on Islam. He currently resides in Portugal where he teaches in-person, online and internationally.
