Called by Love
Bilal (r.a.) & the Prophet (s.a.w.)Description
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar.
For 5 times a day, Muslims hear the call to prayer being broadcasted from mosques throughout their housing areas.
The call to prayer invites Muslims from all ages and backgrounds to come together and worship the One who created us.
Do you ever wonder about the story of the man who was the first person to become a mu’adhdhin? That man is none other than Bilal ibn Rabah (r.a.).
Our speaker, Shaykh Mustafa Briggs will be giving his lecture on the journey and trials of Bilal ibn Rabah (r.a.).
In his session, he’ll be sharing about:
🕌 Bilal ibn Rabah’s (r.a.) transition from being a slave to a mu’adhdhin
🕌 His excellent virtues and characteristics that we should exemplify from
🕌 The love and loyalty shared between Rasulullah (s.a.w.) and Bilal ibn Rabah (r.a.).
We hope you accept the call to attend this lecture!
